Traverse City, MI – In 2022, Tisha & Travis Talsma assumed ownership of The Hair Shack, a beloved local Barbershop and Salon with a 40-year legacy in the Grand Traverse Region. Tisha Talsma, a seasoned cosmetologist and stylist with 15 years of experience under her belt, and Travis Talsma, Licensed Barber, seamlessly stepped into the family business, carrying on a tradition of exceptional service that has spanned generations. Having honed their skills alongside Tisha’s parents, the Talsmas deep understanding of the industry and commitment to customer satisfaction ensures The Hair Shack will continue to be a cherished destination for residents and visitors alike.

The Hair Shack
Has been a family-owned and locally operated barber & beauty shop since 1982 when Raul and Pam decided to open their own shop after working for others. Now they are passing it down to their daughter and grandchildren who will strive to go above and beyond for their clients just as they did. Tisha and Travis will continue to provide haircuts for men, women, and children, while paying special attention to detail. Our goal remains the same to make everyone look and feel their very best!
